About Kindred Red
Kindred Red was started late in the summer of 2016 by Amalia Sieber while working as a visual designer in Oakland, California. The vibrant diversity of the Bay Area — its people, street art, landscapes, and plants — led to Amalia's need to explore colors away from the computer.
"I've always had a wild love of color. This has been a persistent factor throughout all of my passions, whether fiber, textiles, photography, or painting, and I'm happiest getting to share these colors with the world. I decided to start Kindred Red to experiment with my own dreamy and surprising yarn color combinations that could then be worn and prized."
